Participants must register online in advance of the event. Wristbands and party favors must be picked up between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. at either Mad Rose Tavern or Velocity Five.


From 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday, March 9, The Shamrock Crawl celebrates Irish heritage with a pub tour that begins at Mad Rose Tavern and proceeds to several nearby establishments. Revelers make pit stops at Whitlows, Hunan 1, Wilson Tavern, and more, bypassing regular cover charges and enjoying specials. There will be costume prizes for the best-dressed participants. By joining the crawl, each participant snags a refillable Shamrock mug, beads, and a raffle-prize entry.

Pink and Drink Bar Crawl

Project DC Events organizes jubilant bar crawls such as Summer Crawl DC, DC Santa Crawl, Cupid’s Bar Crawl, and The Shamrock Crawl, which allow visitors to enjoy drink specials at a wide range of Dupont Circle drinking spots.
