$99 for a Spa Package (up to a $215 Total Value)

  • Choice of 60-minute relaxer massage (a $75 value) or sugar scrub (a $60 value)
  • Spa manicure (a $40 value)
  • Spa pedicure (a $50 value)
  • Express facial (a $50 value)

After the relaxer massage thoroughly releases tension from back muscles and limbs or the the full body is exfoliated with a sugar scrub, the spa manicure treats fingers to a relaxing soak, cuticle trimming, and polish, as well as an arm-and-hand massage. Spa pedicures build upon those services with callus buffing and exfoliation; techs can also treat nail discoloration. The express facial lasts 45 minutes and tends to skin issues with cleaning, exfoliation, and massage.

Shananigin's Salon & Spa

Highly trained aestheticians, nail artists, and stylists staff Shananigin's Salon & Spa, a new addition to the local pampering scene. They take pride in treating bodies with premium products, such as Pevonia, a natural skincare line. They extend this same attention to quality to their services, adding soothing mini massages to their spa manicures and filling blow dryers with hot air imported from Tahiti.

The Groupon Guide to: Typing Techniques

In grade schools, children are taught one way to type on a computer keyboard—with their hands and not at all with their tiny, perfectly suited for typing toes. Here are some other typing techniques not taught in America's learning rooms:

Hunt and Peck: One of the slower typing methods, it involves the typist "hunting" for each letter individually and then "pecking" the letter with a long cane.

Touch Typing: The same as the standard typing technique, but instead of touching the keyboard, let the keyboard touch you.

Fast Fingers: Standard typing technique, but a little bit faster.

Fancy Fingers: Pretty much the same as "fast fingers," but a little bit slower, and your fingers dance upon the keys like a dainty woman’s feet upon a wet dance floor.

No Fingers: Just throw a rock at the keyboard until you hit the key you want. If you end up breaking the keyboard, buy a new one and start over with a smaller rock.

I'm so proud of my son. He learned how to type with a cane.
