Is the expectation for this to get treatment on both upper and lower teeth? If I only really need treatment for my lower teeth will I be able to use the full $1000 discount?

Hi Amanda, Yes, you can use this Groupon WITH your Flexible Spending Account and also with regular, traditional insurance plans. If your insurance offers a "discount" you will not be able to use both, but I am sure any of the offices will work out the best way for you so you are getting the best deal!

Hi Angela, YES!!! Keep in mind though that unless one arch is absolutely perfect, it is better to treat both arches. Doctors will want your teeth to not only be straight but to also fit like gears and work well together! Your Orthodontist will let you know what is best for you!

Hi All, I had a hard time researching how the Invisalign actually moves teeth (seems to be a lot of SEO spam in search results today). The Wikipedia article has several citations to journal articles which describe Invisalign. I added one in a free clinical journal, such that everyone should be able to read it. I am intrigued -- have been thinking about getting small corrections made to restore my more youthful smile. I'd also get a retainer to hold everything in place. Does anyone have a recommendation as to which of these orthodontists might be more creative in their use of the computer-aided smile design? For example, I would want my teeth to be slid gently back into their previous alignment, which was not entirely symmetrical but did have the advantage of fitting perfectly into my jaw. So I'd want a more creative/engineering type orthodontist.

Hi there, if we are not good candidates for invisalign, before any of the services, could we get a refund up front? Also, what is the general cost of Invisalign? I'm sure there is a range, but could you give an idea? If we have insurance that covers part, could this be applied to the part not covered? Finally, can we keep the molds after the "braces" are made, or if we decide not to get the "braces"? I know the can be reused for things like bruxism gaurds.

Hi Mary, I think you will find that most all of these Orthodontists are in the same fee range-Invisalign usually costs the same or very close to traditional braces. It really depends on your specific case. Any molds that are taken would be used strictly for Invisalign-unless you were definately moving forward with treatment, you probably don't even need to take them!

Hi Crystal, Once Invisalign molds are taken and sent to Invisalign they are not returned. But, when you move forward with treatment, you can have a digital file emailed to you and can see your teeth move from beginning to end. It is soooo kool!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a permanent retainer on the back of my bottom teeth that keeps them nice and straight. I have also had braces on my top teeth before. Everything on top is perfectly straight. However, my gap has come back. Could invisalign permanently fix that small gap in my top front teeth? I don't want to have to go through the expense and hassle of braces or invisalign if the fix isn't going to be permanent. My dentist said the gap came back because my teeth are small and my mouth is roomy.

Hi Carrie! Great question! Invisalign can certainly close the space on your top and with Vivera retainers, will help to keep them closed forever! You will want to make sure that you are a really good retainer wearer-you may need to wear them all day and all night at first and then eventually just at nighttime only. But no worries because they are clear just like Invisalign! Since every patient is different though, it is best to follow what your Orthodontist tells you regarding the retention phase of treatment!
