Laughter has healing power, especially after you've watched a sad film or seen a sad person fall down. Laugh at a professional with this GrouponLive deal: for $15, you get one general-admission ticket to any Sin City Comedy performance at the Sin City Theatre, located inside the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino (up to a $37.50 value, including all fees). Shows are held nightly at 9 p.m.; keep an eye on the show’s Facebook page for upcoming performers.

Sin City Comedy hearkens back to the swinging 1960s and, even further, to the seamier side of the mid-18th century with a blend of jokes and sultry moves. Chosen from a deep roster of nationally known performers and funny-looking cats whose credits include Comedy Central, The Late Show with David Letterman, and Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, a different comedic talent headlines the stage each week with support from local and visiting stars on the rise. Between the acts, scantily clad ladies perform what the Las Vegas Review-Journal praised in 2009 as “witty, retro-sexy stripteases” with their own saucy sense of humor. The show recently moved to a plush new space inside Planet Hollywood, a theater whose neon signs and punkish metal spikes foreshadow the mixture of the glam and the hardboiled that audiences will find onstage.
