Two questions:
1. How big is the canvas?
2. Do you have to paint the pictures on your calendar (i.e. tomorrow is a picture of a poppy) or can you paint any picture (and get help for those of us who have zero artistic ability)?
Can you register as a group? And if so, how many people will the studio hold?

Hi! I am one of the owners! The canvas sizes vary depending on the painting we are doing for the night!
You can paint any picture you want – but we will be guiding the class through the picture of the painting you see for that evening on the calendar. We strive to have everyone create the painting thru their own “eyes”. We LOVE seeing how everyone sees it differently. No ARTISTIC experience necessary at ALL!! That is exactly who the class is for – those of us that don’t explore the right side of our brains as much as we would like to. We help you through the whole process and it is step by step instruction. Our studio holds 30 people. You get one groupon per person and you can buy as many gifts as you like. CHEERS! This is a fantastic deal and a great place to spend an evening with friends or by yourself. It is run by great folks and the atmosphere is one which many of us need!!
Will there be a cap to the amount of Groupons sold? Because I’m waiting to hear back from my girlfriends to see if they’ll do this with me, and I don’t want to lose out!

If I buy one for myself and one for a friend, can we use them on the same night?
Are all materials provided or are there additional costs?
Welcome to our Groupon! We can hold 30 people in each class.
Many are asking about the “sipping” piece. We offer two glasses of wine complimentary per class. We do not sell alcohol and we do not offer any other alcohol. We do have water and club soda and light snacks – all complimentary. We do not change our price based on whether or not someone drinks wine. Then we would be selling the wine. You can TOTALLY come on the same night as long as there is space.

Hi, I’m the other owner. People are welcome to paint whatever they want to paint at our classes. If you want to paint a purple platypus – go crazy! We, however will be teaching the featured painting of the night. Often people follow the painting of the night but change it to reflect their own personal style and creativity. We look forward to sipping n’ painting with you!
I am planning on going with two different sets for friends on different nights. Can I buy 2 and use both myself on different nights? Thanks!
When does the offer end? You have two different dates in you ad.

Yes, you can purchase groupons and come on two different nights with two different sets of friends. Each person can redeem one groupon per night (in other words, you cannot paint two canvases in one night) but you can share your groupons and come with friends. When you register online, use “groupon” as the discount code then bring your groupon when you attend the class.
The offer ends at midnight tonight. The groupon can be redeemed for a class anytime before July 4, 2010.

I just received the coupon, but don’t see how to apply it when i register

The website says classes are held every Wed- Sat. However, if there is no featured painting on the calendar does that mean that there will NOT be a class/session that day? I was thinking of buying a couple extra Groupons to use when my boyfriend will be in town, but there is no painting on the Friday/Saturday he’ll be here.
Can you tell me what time the classes are? I tried finding it on your website but didn’t see it. Thanks.

What time are classes held?
Wednesday, Thursday & Friday classes begin at 6pm. Saturday classes begin at 4pm

Hi Groupon Fans. Kelly here – one of the owners. Kelly B – you are correct for finding the class times and days. There are some days where there are no classes offered – either due to our own schedule, a private class, or we haven’t painted it yet! The website is updated frequently and you can check it for more times and classes on a regular basis.

I tried to buy one for myself and 3 as gifts. When I purchased the 3 as gifts, the one for myself disappeared from “My Stuff.” Is there a limit on how many can be purchased?

Are you going to be able to acommodate 1600 people before July 4th? That seems like a lot of people to get in before that date.
We may extend the groupon through August. Right now we are fine – but we will definitely extend the voucher expiration date if we need to in order to make sure everyone can register at a time that is hopefully convenient for them.

Does the Groupon voucher have to have the name of the person attending the class listed as the “recipient”? (Basically can someone else use a Groupon that I have purchased with my name on it?)
A couple of answers. There is one voucher per person. Your name will be with the voucher – if someone else registers for a class – they can bring your voucher in with them and we will mark it as used. Hope that answers your question.
On another note – on our website under the tab “register” if you scroll down you can see more paintings thru may – then on the calendar on the right you can click on the arrow to scroll to the next month to register for a class in April or May.

When you purchase through the “BUY” button these vouchers will have your name on it as you registered it through Groupon whether you purchase 1 or 10.
If you buy through the “BUY FOR A FRIEND” button this will give you the option to give this as a gift to someone and put it in their name.
It is a limit of one person per class so if you buy 10 and bring 9 friends it does not matter the name on the list!

I missed it by a hair! I got back from work too late, can I still buy it?

Arturo- Sorry you missed out. Unfortunately when a deal closes out we can not add anymore purchases.
Rachel- Probably in the future we will since this was such a huge hit! But I am sure S & P will want to wait until everyone from this round comes in so they can accommodate everyone!
Also, FYI you dont have to get the e mail to check Groupon. All you have to do is go straight to the website daily to see the deal!
