What constitutes a valid prescription? I have a prescription from a friend in Canada whose glasses are perfect for me. Can I use that?

So, in addition to the first pair of glasses (lens & frame), am I correctly understanding that I would also receive a second pair of glasses for free? (Up to a value of $150)

Correct - you get a free second pair, which includes clear, single-vision lenses and a frame from a special selection.

I wear tri-focals and have my vision test through Kaiser. I read that I can bring in my prescription. Can you provide an estimated additional cost for tri-focals rather than single lenses? I realize it would be an additional cost.

Linda S. asked 5 months, 12 days, 16 hours, and 45 minutes ago - 1 answer

Jamie R.

Linda, it would be the cost of the trifocal lenses, plus the cost of the frames you pick out, minus the $150. I cannot provide a cost without knowing what frames you would select. I would recommend calling your local store, giving them a brand you like and getting an idea of pricing.

Jamie R. answered 5 months, 12 days, 2 hours, and 15 minutes ago

You replied to Martin's question that he can bring his non-RX strength reader glasses. If I bring my 2.00 strength reading glasses for you to duplicate, how much would the lens cost?

BELINDA P. asked 5 months, 12 days, 21 hours, and 16 minutes ago - 1 answer

Jamie R.

Belinda, the groupon voucher has to be used toward both frames and lenses, not just lenses. Whatever that total is, you would then deduct $150 from that.

Jamie R. answered 5 months, 12 days, 19 hours, and 1 minute ago

Do you accept insurance for any difference in cost? For example, if my pair with transitional lense/anti-reflection/utra-thin costs $280, may I charge the $130 via Insurance? Thanks.

karina l. asked 5 months, 12 days, 19 hours, and 20 minutes ago - 1 answer

Jamie R.

Karina, you cannot combine with insurance - but I know there are reimbursement programs where a claim can be filed. I would call the local store and share your insurance type. They will direct you from there. Thanks!

Are you saying this is a $150 eyeglasses value for only $20?

DEJA N. asked 5 months, 12 days, 20 hours, and 51 minutes ago - 1 answer

Jamie R.

Yes. It is $150 toward a complete pair (frames and lenses). You select frames and lenses and deduct $150 from the total cost.

Jamie R. answered 5 months, 12 days, 19 hours, and 4 minutes ago

Hi, Do I need to buy only a designer frame or I can choose any frame from the store?

Jagan R. asked 5 months, 12 days, 21 hours, and 57 minutes ago - 1 answer

Jamie R.

Jagan, you can select any frame you like. The voucher is good for $150 off frames and lenses.
