I would like to know which Laser – very important as well! Does this spa have any experience treating skin on other then white skin? The last Boston Groupon that was advertised on here gave me horrible 2nd degree burns that I am still recovering from after 7 weeks….. I would like to hear from the laser technicians on here!
Can you purchase two for one person, or is it one groupon per person. I know you can purchase multiple groupons, but didn’t know if one had to be a gift to someone else if purchased.

Also – I’m new to Groupon so are questions people ask here typically answered by a Groupon representative or someone who actually knows what they are talking about??
The ad mentions three sessions, but does not indicate how long each session lasts – 10- minutes? 1 hour? Two forearms for example will require 45 minutes, legs may take longer etc. Will Sky Skin Center suddenly abbreviate how long each session is because it is deeply discounted?
Yes, it would be nice if someone from Groupon would clarify these questions…

Lisa, if you’re talking about this expiring in one year, it’s because this is not a gift certificate. It’s a coupon.
Also, Sunette- I was able to open their website and the hours are:
Monday through Friday : 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Saturday : 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Sunday : closed
I am not seeing legs being covered. Just a basic clarification would be great!

Here are the areas that this Groupon is valid for:
Women – upper lip, chin, front of neck, hair line, cheeks, full face, jaw line, sideburns, abdomen, forearms, buttocks, underarms, and bikini line.
Men – back of neck, front of neck, shoulders, lower back, abdomen, chest, forearms, full beard, and under arms.
No legs – no brazilian. Sorry!

Is there any age limitation? I am interested in bringing my teenage daughter.
FYI on eyebrows, I just called and they will do a uni brow (in the middle) but they stay away from under the brow as it is too close to the eye.

Elizabeth – 1 session refers to a single treatment area. So, underarms and bikini would be 2 sessions.
Olga – you can use the three sessions at different times. You do not have to do them all at once.
I just got a call back from the center, they said with this groupon you can make three different appointments to cover 1 area per visit. Hope that helps to those who wonder…

For best results do not Wax between treatments or tweeze. You may shave, or use buzzers so you don’t have to walk around hairy! We also suggest not sun bathing or using tanning booths between treatments as well.

Bought 2 this morning for my wife and after she made her first appointment, she wants to get 3 areas taken care of (upper lip, chin, underarms). I bought 4 more for her just now and she will use one coupon per visit. This has to be one of the best deals that Groupon has come across with!
For those that were asking about the minimum age, it is 16. They won’t do anyone younger than that.
Hi Everyone! I had to be a downer but if you bought any vouchers I would suggest you return them because hair laser removal only works with a minimum of 6 sessions and I have had hair laser removal on several parts of my body and in my case it was not very successful-thats with 10 sessions!
Quick question…what is the difference between full face and separate brows and lip?

Jessica – everyone is different. Some people see complete results within 6 treatments.
I agree with Chris. I went to this place before and was very happy with their service and experince overall. I am buying another 3 sessions because laser worked better on some parts of my body, but there are couple of places that still need touch ups.
I have had laser before and LOVE the results!! I have not had it done here before since I just moved here and was looking for a new place to get this done. Perfect timing! I have had 5 treatments on my bikini and I have a little regrowth, but it comes back really fine like little blond, fuzzy hairs. I have had to shave 5 times in a yr-so it is so worth it. Some people do take longer to get results, but once you do it, you will want to laser EVERYTHING!
I agree! I had laser hair removal about 5 years ago at a plastic surgeons office. It took about 4 visits before the hair stopped growing back. The 10 or so hairs that do grow back are so fine you can barely see them. I want to get my legs done now, the thought of not having to shave everyday is so appealing. I wish this groupon covered the legs, I’d be in!!
So if I wanted to do my lower back, stomach and chest (I’m male) I would need 18 treatments total to have 6 in each area? just want to make sure I understand.

yes. you do need more then 3 treatments, i have had over 12 treatments there back when they first opened and i need more treatments again. Also be carefull, it is a tiny little place and i wonder how they will accomodate all this 400ppl…. cheers
