Flights depart from the Cape Cod Airfield, and duos—composed of a first-timer and a USPA-certified instructor—dive from their plane at an altitude of roughly two miles. After freefalling, the instructor deploys the parachute, and the pair enjoys a five- to seven-minute canopy flight to earth. A $30 gear-rental fee is not included; for more information, see the first skydive page and the FAQs.

Skydive Barnstable

Skydive Barnstable’s USPA certified instructors—many of whom have thousands of jumps to their name—attach themselves to clients, and together, pairs leap from planes two miles above the earth. A 60-second freefall that hits speeds of up to 120 miles-per-hour leads into a peaceful, 5- to 7-minute canopy descent, which grants aerial views of the surrounding cities, bays, and harbors. Optional video services record the entire experience, while on the ground, family and friends may gather in a spectator area.
