The Washington Township menu includes more than 20 types of thin-crust pizza, including a margherita with basil and fresh mozzarella ($14.50 for a 17”); a florentine with ricotta, spinach, and sliced tomatoes ($15.95 for a 17”); and a pizza topped with black truffle oil ($18.95 for a 17"). At Slice, cooks handcraft and hand-toss dough daily, using a blend of flour that makes the crust thin and crispy when baked atop hot stones. Cheese makes up the foundation of these Neapolitan-style pies, which are then topped with tomato sauce. The sauce is made by hand-crushing San Marzano tomatoes, instead of throwing them up in the air and smashing them between a pair of hand cymbals.
