I have a few questions. I see that taxes are not included and was wondering how much they run for the 2 night stay. Also, what is included in your breakfast? And lastly, do we have any choice as to which room we get or is it just whatever is available the day we arrive. Thanks so much for your help.

Good morning Valora, taxes are 10% of the purchase price so for a one night stay they would be $12.80 and for two night stay they would be $25.00. Our breakfast, available every day except Sundays, is an expanded continental breakfast. It includes, cereals, bagels, waffles, danish, muffins, fresh fruit, juices, coffee and the like. Sundays we serve our award winning breakfast buffet that has omelettes made to order, fresh made belgian waffles, and traditional hot foods for $13.95 per person. When you call to make your reservation, we tell you what rooms are available and assign you to one of those at that time. While you may not know the specific room number, it will be a specific room type. Hope this helps!

Hi Randy, This looks like a wonderful value and opportunity but I just wanted to verify - this groupon must be used NLT 14 March, 2011 - basically this week-end only - is that correct.

Hi Terri, that is incorrect. You have until March 14, 2012, a full year, to use this groupon. Of course it is based on availability, but we still have rooms. I would be happy to go over more details if you need me to! Thanks!

Hello, This deal seems great. I was wondering how far the beach was from the house. Are there any wineries or breweries nearby that you'd recommend? Also, the Groupon can be used for the room with the jacuzzi/balcony combination if available, correct? Can the $40 restaurant certificate that is provided with the 2 night reservation be used for alcohol? For lunch? Breakfast? Thank you! :)

Hi Nazanin, We are 1 hour from the ocean front at Va Beach, but there are several beaches along the river and Bay that are even closer (some as close as ten minutes). Closest winiries are the Williamsburg Winery which is about an hour away. Yes, as long as the Jacuzzi rooms are avialble, they are good for this deal as well. Please remeber though that I only have four and they seem to go first! The $40 gift certificate can be used at anytime durig your stay for any item in the restaurant.

Does the two night stay include a total of four continental breakfasts which means each morning includes a breakfast? Or, is the intent to spend the $40 on the second morning for breakfast?

The continental breakfast is available for two guests for every morning of your stay other than Sunday mornings. We do not offer a continental breakfast on Sunday mornings because we have an absolutely wonderful breakfast buffet for $13.95 per person. While you can use your $40 voucher for this, it is not restricted to this. You may use the $40 voucher for anything in the restaurant, including the bar, breakfast, lunch and dinner.

@ Lori - not sure if I made myself clear. If you stay Thursday and Friday night (or really any combination that does not include a Saturday night) you would recieve four continental breakfasts and the voucher could be used for whatever you like. Hope this helps!

I use a wheelchair. Is the Captain Todd Suite the only wheelchair accessible room? Since it's a suite and not a deluxe room, is it included in the groupon?

Hi, this looks very neat--just showed it to my sis in the DC area (I'm in Missouri) and we're thinking of doing this as a mini-family vacation with our families. Would we have to make/pick the weekend immediately or do we have time to discuss and coordinate schedules?

Once you have the groupon, you have 365 days to come to Smithfield, so if you can coordinate it in the next year, come on and visit us! You must by the groupon before it closes though!
