Also, if we use the Groupon to get a headshot, are there restrictions re: reusing those images online or in other print materials, or will we “own” them?

Hello everyone – this is Jennifer with Snapdragon Photography. Thanks so much for your interest! Clients have an opportunity to purchase a full cd of images one year after the shoot for a cost of $50.
For headshots, I typically charge for the sitting fee and then $100 for the digital images to use online. If you purchase this Groupon, and you forgo the free prints, you can purchase the digital images you need for your website/marketing materials for $50.
And unfortunately, you cannot change the sizes of the free prints. When we meet after the shoot to choose your pictures, you can apply the value of the three prints toward whichever sizes you want to purchase.

What are the original sizes? Wallet? It says for one person. If I bring my family for a family shot is that one sitting fee or 4? If I want to upgrade to the online profiles, do I still have to wait 6 months to buy it for $50?
The shoot is for as many people as you want to bring. I think you are referring to where it says you can only buy one Groupon to use yourself (as opposed to buying several to use over the next six months).
After the pictures are taken, they are posted online for your review. Then you can order whichever sizes you want.
What are the costs of reprints? 5×7, 4×6 and wallets?
Thinking about it for my son’s senior high school portraits and will need pictures to send out in the graduation announcements.
Just want to make sure I understand. I’d like various shots for a personal website. So I’d pay the price of the groupon (that’s the sitting fee), forgo the prints, and pay $50 for unlimited use of the digital photos (multiple shots) for my site. Is that correct?

The final prints you receive (both free from this deal and others) come retouched. And yes, the free prints can be different images.
I shoot everything in color and then convert to black and white (so you see each image both ways). Depending on how well the shoot goes, you could view anywhere from 50 to 150 images online for this 30 minute session. I don’t have a maximum number – I just shoot until we are done.
All of the per print prices can be found on my website: www.snapdragonphoto.com, but generally, a 4×6 is $20, a 5×7 is $25.
The montages are specialty products and are priced as such. The four-picture montage is 14×14, the six-picture is 16×20 and the nine-picture is 19.5 × 19.5.

Interested in purchasing for engagement pictures (wedding in july). Noticed hat you focus on children, so wanted to know if you do this kind of session. Also read on the that you can chose between takign the pictures at the studio or a pond, with this group on can we take the pictures at the pond?

I need modeling shots for my daughter. First would this groupon apply and second houw much experience do you have in shooting model shoots? Thanks :-)
Model shoots are not my area of expertise.
I bought this deal and when I called to make an appointment (I got no answer, so left a message) I got a message back saying that there were no more Groupon appointments available and to contact Groupon to get my money back. This seems like a really bad deal – I paid for something I didn’t get. Not sure why Snapdragon would offer something they can’t deliver – very frustrating and I will of course never use her service. I have emailed support@groupon.com and hope to get my money back.
