Choose Between Two Options

  • $45 for a gel polish on hands and feet (an $80 value) and a paraffin dip (a $15 value; a $95 total value)
  • $35 for a glitter gel toes (a $50 value) and a mini manicure (a $25 value; a $75 total value)

The gel treatment for fingers and toes starts with a technician clipping, shaping and prepping each fingernail. They then apply a base coat and two coats of colorful, chip-resistant gel polish—there are 67 colors of either OPI, Young Nails or Gelish gel polish from which to choose. The chosen polish is cured under an LED light for 30 seconds per coat. Once cured, nails are dry and ready for a soothing paraffin dip that softens and moisturizes the skin. Toes then receive the same regimen.

The glitter gel toes with a mini manicure begins with a clipping, shaping, and buffing of fingernails. A technician cleans up cuticles and applies conditioning cuticle oil before applying the client’s chosen color. Then it’s on to the toes, where a trimming and shaping preps the nails for a base gel and a coat of gel polish in a color that compliments the glitter color—there are more than 80 colors from which to choose. Next up is a second coat, only this time it’s embedded with glitter. Once set, multiple layers of hard gel protect the look for up to a month, and a super shiny UV top coat provides the finishing touch. To ensure lasting quality an LED light is applied between each and every layer of the multistep process. Throughout either service, which each take about 90 minutes, clients can enjoy their choice of a complimentary glass of wine or a non-alcoholic beverage.

The Groupon Guide to: DVD Commentary Reveals

DVD commentaries can be fonts of behind-the-scenes trivia about all your favorite flicks. What are some secrets we learned from watching the special features?

  • Only half the dinosaurs in Jurassic Park were real dinosaurs.
  • Robert De Niro is a joy to work with, really gets to know everyone on set.
  • The reason there are so many Batman movies is because the mask lets producers cast interchangeable nonunion stuntmen that are cheap and easy to knock around.
  • Marty Scorsese is a joy to work with, takes time to get to know people.
  • The special effects in Toy Story were done with computers.
  • Claymation skeletons are a joy to work with, spend a lot of time sword fighting folks during breaks.
  • Star Wars is based on a true trilogy.

What behind-the-scenes movie secrets did we learn from director’s commentaries?
