During an initial consultation, the dentist confirms eligibility for treatment and takes digital x-rays, impressions, and photos of the face and teeth. Up to 12 sets of custom teeth-sheaths are then created (additional aligners beyond the included 12 may be purchased for $57 each), and worn for about three weeks at a time between progress checkups with the dentist. The package also includes five tubes of take-home solution that whitens teeth while they are being straightened.
