Over the last 10 years, licensed therapist Ismail Alshikhly has treated more than 1,000 people with massage therapy. Alshikhly began his study of massage therapy in Germany, and journeyed through Kuwait and Bulgaria before settling in the United States. He now focuses all his body-kneading experience on clients visiting Sofia's Therapeutic Massage, where he relieves pain and tension with modalities such as Swedish, trigger point, and prenatal, which alleviates the aches of carrying a baby or a fanny pack filled with bricks. He can also augment kneading sessions with hot stones daubed in massage oils to create a completely relaxing experience.
