After clients drink 16 ounces of water, an aesthetician helps them into the body wrap, which is on a massage bed. They then apply creams to the body that make perspiration difficult, which aims to stimulate the wrap's effects. The heated wrap sends infrared rays beneath the skin to break down the cells in fat reserves and boost metabolism and blood circulation. In doing so, it can help the body to remove waste and toxins, and can reduce the appearance of cellulite and stretch marks and improve skin tone.
For the best results, the clinic recommends that clients wear cotton undergarments (thong-style for women) and refrain from applying any lotions or oils on the day of the wrap. They also ask that clients eat a meal containing at least 3 ounces of protein in the 90 minutes prior to the wrap. It's recommended to receive three body wraps within a 30-day period.
Softouch Permanent Makeup
Carole Siegel-DeZarn first opted to get inked with permanent cosmetics as a way of simplifying her busy life as a mother. Her desire to share this beautification technique with others led her to become a certified instructor of SofTap permanent cosmetics and open Softouch Permanent Makeup & Laser Technologies. She and her staff enhance clients' appearances with lip color, eyeliner, and natural-looking eyebrows that don't wash off in the shower or streak when knife-fighting with onions. Laser technicians on the team banish unwanted body hair and tattoos with noninvasive treatments, or cause unsightly spider veins to fade from existence with Veinwave's high-frequency heat energy.
