Don’t be scared. Jessica Brink—or as her aesthetician students know her, the Waxing Princess—is skilled in speed-waxing and pain-minimizing techniques. Cirepil is one of her secrets; imported from France, this customizable wax exfoliates the skin and leaves the hair finer over time.

Jessica is only one of the several staff members providing pampering services out of Sophia's Skin Studio. Other staff members administer restorative facials or use dead sea salt to exfoliate skin during H2O2 treatments, which relieve irritation caused by waxing and microdermabrasion. All clients at the small, intimate spa are offered their choice of adult beverages and snacks, an ideal prelude to a deep-tissue or hot-stone massage.
