What is the difference between the three systems?

maryann l. asked 3 months, 16 days, 9 hours, and 27 minutes ago - 1 answer

Chris H.

The $119 system is a one button start that will give you up to 800ft of range, and the $139 system gives you keyless entry and remote start with up to 1000ft of range. If you click the links for each of the systems, it will give you a more detailed description of the systems, but please note that some of those features may incur additional in store charges

More Questions and Answers

I have a 2013 Kia Optima that is push to start. I didn't see this forum and purchased the CS600. Reading about the 2012 Sonata - would it be better to get the CS601? I understand that it would need the bypass and push to start up charge. It sounds like you are recommending the CS601.

Where is the "book now" button to schedule the install appointment online without having to call?

Jon G. asked 3 months, 12 days, 8 hours, and 53 minutes ago - 1 answer

Chris H.

Groupon was supposed to make that available. Thank you for bringing it to our attention, I will call them now to get that activated, if they do not get it up, then you would have to call to schedule. 262-633-8300

We have a 2012 Hyundai Sonata with a push-button start. Which system would you recommend and can you estimate the total cost?

Laura P. asked 3 months, 12 days, 13 hours, and 13 minutes ago - 1 answer

Chris H.

Any of the systems will work well for you vehicle. Because of the size of the key fobs that we will add to your key ring, we do recommend doing either the CS601-S ($119 system) or the one with the DroneMobile ($399 system). Because you do have a push to start, and you will need the by-pass, so your in store costs will be $150+tax in addition to the Groupon.

Chris H. answered 3 months, 12 days, 13 hours, and 9 minutes ago

Will the CS601-S be a decent choice if we're looking for a 'simple' remote start ? We don't need everything else (alarm/locks/trunk) since on the Mfg key. This is for our 2008 Nissan Altima - since a 'push button' start....outside of the $119, what other fees are we looking at? Thanks!!

Tom P. asked 3 months, 13 days, 5 hours, and 23 minutes ago - 1 answer

Joseph G.

The CS601-S would be just fine for your 2008 Altima. However, there would be some additional charges for bypassing and other things that would need to be done. For a full list of work that would need to be done, please feel free to call the business directly at (262) 592-4201.

I have a 2013 Hyundai Elantra. Will I need any thing extra if i buy the Compustar CS601-S

J M. asked 3 months, 15 days, 10 hours, and 39 minutes ago - 1 answer

As long as the vehicle is not a push-2-start, you should not need any additional parts. The way to be 100% certain, you can wrap the plastic part of your key in 2 layers of aluminum foil and try to start the car, if it starts without any problems, you will not need any additional parts, if it tries to start and it fails, then you will need the $100+tax bypass module and that is paid in store at the time of installation.

Is there any extra charge to install on my 2006 Ford explorer and how long does it take to install this product to my car i am from Kenosha and i will have to waite for this to be installed.

Dale D. asked 3 months, 16 days, 5 hours, and 13 minutes ago - 1 answer

Chris H.

Yes, this can be installed on the Explorer. Any of the options will work, but we will need $100+tax bypass module. Also, if you have 2 keys for the vehicle, if you could bring them both in at the time of installation, we would appreciate it, you will get both keys back, but it makes programing the bypass a lot easier. The installation will take about 2-3 hours. We do not have much of a waiting room, but we do have stools available to sit on, otherwise we are about 1/4 mile from Denny's or Starbucks and some shopping, it would be up to you.

What are the features of the drone that set it apart from the other models? Would the Drone work on a 2001 Mustang GT Convt, 2011 Range Rover Sport, and a 2012 Porsche Panamera?

Antoine W. asked 3 months, 16 days, 9 hours, and 37 seconds ago - 1 answer

Chris H.

The Drone is from Compustar. The platform that they use for their systems has proven to be incredibly reliable. It includes the 1st year of standard service. The service fees after the 1st year are typically less expensive than their competitors. This unit is also upgradable to GPS track-ability by just activating their service, no additional parts are needed for this option (all other units that we have looked at need additional parts, resulting in an additional cost). We can do the system on your Mustang, and you will need the $100+tax (paid in store at the time of installation). As for the Range Rover and the Porsche, we will not do a remote start on either of those vehicles at any time. They are very intricate and cause a liability at we are not willing to take responsibility for.
