Questions and Answers

From the Groupon page: "With the $100 Groupon, customers could transfer 11 videotapes to DVDs" I have (6) 8mm videotapes (120's) and (4) 8mm videotapes (150's) that I'd like to transfer to DVD's - 10 tapes total. Would the $100 Groupon cover this?

Can you give me an idea of what the cost would be to convert a large reel of 16mm. The film runs about an hour and is sound.

Richard S. asked 4 months, 15 days, 6 hours, and 56 minutes ago - 1 answer

Hey Richard, to convert a reel that is 7", 400 ft is around $109.95. You can learn more about our film services at southtree.com/film-to-dvd.

I am assuming I would mail my 8mm to you and then you convert them, correct? I have several 8mm I would like to have converted to dvd but how would i know how many would be converted for the $35.00 coupon? If not all of the ones I have how to do know how much the charge per 8mm would be?

Tami M. asked 4 months, 17 days, and 28 minutes ago - 1 answer

Hi Tami! We offer a mail-in digitization model - so you would mail in your tapes and then after we have processed your 8mms we'd send them back to you. We offer flat rate pricing per tape - starting at $8.95 for our standard tape conversion to DVD. You can view full pricing at southtree.com/order

Once the photos are digitized can they be home computer edited with locations, names, etc., placed at the bottom of the ech photo by the buyer?

CHARLES F. asked 4 months, 17 days, 4 hours, and 51 minutes ago - 1 answer

Southtree 1.

Hi Charles! We are able to digitize you photos into high quality JPEG images - just like you would receive from a new digital camera. You can then use editing software to add titles or other information. Thanks!
