Choose Between Two Options

  • $1,449 for an outpatient blepharoplasty procedure for the upper or lower eyelids (a $3,500 value)
  • $1,899 for an outpatient blepharoplasty procedure for both the upper and lower eyelids (a $4,800 value)

During the procedure, which typically takes 1–3 hours, board-certified plastic surgeon Alfredo Rodriguez makes an incision on the fold of the upper eyelid or the area below the lower eyelashes. Using this incision, he can remove fat deposits and excess tissue that can cause bags to form below eyes and wrinkles to droop above eyes. Afterward, patients typically go back to work within 10–14 days and to the gym within 3–4 weeks. Each option includes facility and local-anesthesia fees. An additional fee averaging $120 for lab work is not included, but may be covered through the patient’s insurance.

It began at the University of Santo Tomas where he earned his bachelor’s degree and doctorate and set himself up for a residency of general surgery at the University of Philippines. In New Jersey, he established his US credentials with a residency in general surgery before completing a residency in plastic surgery at Saint Luke’s Hospital in Cleveland. He first arrived in Dallas as the chairman of the department of surgery at Dallas Regional Medical Center before opening Southwest Plastic Surgery Center. At the center, he and his staff perform liposuction and cosmetic surgeries along with less-invasive options for rejuvenation such as microdermabrasion and chemical peels. Dr. Rodriguez is equally adept at matters of function as of form: he also specializes in hand surgeries that alleviate carpal tunnel syndrome and repetitive-stress injuries.
