While produce varies based on the season, boxes may contain produce such as rainbow carrots, ruby grapefruits, green beans, kumquats, yukon gold potatoes, and green-leaf lettuce. This Groupon also includes the shop’s one-time registration fee, which allows guests to continue weekly or biweekly service without further administrative fees.

Space Girl Organics

Growing up on a struggling family farm, Lucinda B. Clark knows the trials facing those trying to make a living off of the land. Vowing to help the local farmer, Lucinda opened Space Girl Organics, which serves as a middleman between the fruits of the field and customers looking for organically grown produce delivered straight to their door. Combining the fruits and vegetables of these farmers’ labor, she creates five produce boxes that come in sizes suitable for feeding a single person or arming a family for a tomato fight. The shop allows clients to customize their box from the weekly selection of in-season produce, forgoing the broccoli they dislike for more leafy greens or opting to add in specialty items such as oyster mushrooms and kiwi berries. To prevent neighbors from going hungry, staff members gather together all of the produce not included in clients’ weekly drop-off for donation to a local soup kitchen and food-distribution center.

The Groupon Guide to: Choosing a Jersey Number

Professional athletes are faced with many difficult decisions, such as choosing to which charity to donate their entire salary or settling on a jersey number. If you get picked to play big ball with the big boys and big girls, use these helpful tips for selecting your definitive digits:

  • Choose a number that has meaning to you, such as the number of teeth inside your mouth.

  • Go with a number that gives you an interesting story to tell the sports reporters whenever they ask you "Hey champ, could you tell us why you picked that uniform number again?" This number could be the amount of people you'd kiss if you had no respect for personal boundaries.

  • Pick a random number, such as 9 or maybe even 10. It's up to you as long as it's either 9 or 10!

  • No one has ever gotten away with a three-digit number … yet.

  • Do you have a lucky number? If you don't, you should choose one now because you'll need one—most professional athletes have incredibly short careers and aren't qualified to do anything else.

Did Shaquille O'Neal choose number 32 because that was the number of teeth he had at the time? Find out in today's Groupon Guide.
