During the 60-minute Spahara pedicure, feet soak in a therapeutic whirlpool before a technician shapes nails, trims cuticles, and exfoliates the skin. A cool mask restores moisture, and a foot and leg massage eases tension. The 45-minute Spahara manicure also refines nails and cuticles and soothes digits that have been frozen in a jazz-hands position with a relaxing massage. Both fingernails and toenails leave with a choice of OPI or Zoya polish.

The beauty experts at Spahara keep detailed records of clients' skin and body needs in order to treat them royally every time. The crew draws inspiration from the ancient Egyptians—one of the first cultures to use spas as havens of healing—as they perform stress-reducing treatments such as facials, mani-pedis, and body wraps as well as relaxation or therapeutic massages within the spa's exposed-stone walls. In keeping with this philosophy of healing, the spa has helped raise money for breast-cancer research.

In the pedicure area, fluted columns and an Egyptian-style mural handcrafted by co-owner Hanna Botros speak of age-old palaces.
