Created by fitness guru Suzanne Bowen, BarreAmped cooks up high-intensity workouts in a low-impact skillet, borrowing dance-influenced moves from Pilates, yoga, and orthopedic stretching. Using the barre, participants maintain challenging postures while practicing precise, isolated movements such as curling toes one at a time and balancing goldfish bowls on their nose. The watchful eyes of Sphericality's trained instructors are on participants at all times to correct positioning as needed. BarreAmped's delicate fusion of whole-body exercises melts away fat while lengthening muscles—creating a lean, toned look and a balanced, flexible body that more easily slithers past the web of laser tripwires surrounding a roommate's cookies.

Sphericality's studio is housed in the circa-1881 Deats Building, where hardwood floors, narrow columns, and high ceilings create a tranquil atmosphere painted with sunlight from large windows.
