Swimming lessons show terrestrial mammals how to hold their breath underwater and move their arms in patterns that don't signal nearby fish to begin nibbling on their shins. Learn the rules of the ocean with this Groupon.

Choose Between Two Options

Multiple class levels suit the different skill sets of swimmers. Gradeschoolers dive into more advanced freestyle techniques and begin to explore competitive swimming. Three levels of triathlon-training classes challenge athletes aged 5–15 to build up the endurance needed to swim multiple triathlon laps.

All classes will begin in April, allowing enough time to prepare for summer swim league and local kids' triathlon. The typically small classes take place within the facility's heated pool. A $20 family registration fee may apply. View class schedules on the home page.

Splash Jax Swim School

Drawing on four decades of coaching experience, Splash Jax Swim School's owners, Chris Oliver and Nancy Hennessy, help students of all levels improve their speed and agility in the pool. Under the direction of Chris and Nancy, a team of CPR-certified instructors readies students for competitive swimming, whether the goal is to join a swim team or simply to beat an arrogant goldfish in a time trial.
