So “new customers only” means that you can’t get in on this deal if you’ve previously taken a class at Spring?

I went to Spring once. Does this mean I am ineligible?

I would assume so.

i would like to know the answer to this as well, i have taken one “trial” class there but that is it.

So all who have tried before, what do you think? I’ve never been before but it looks like a good offer. Thanks

Your website says: “Prior to joining a group apparatus class, you must complete 2 privates lessons.” The Groupon says: “New customers only.” Isn’t this a conflict?

Re: the group apparatus question.

This offer is for group exercise classes only. These include our Pilates Mat, (Hot) Yoga, Kettlebells, Cardio Bosu, Core Ballet, Pilates/Yoga Fusion and Stretch classes.

The group apparatus classes are equipment-based Pilates classes and do require familiarity with Pilates machines. They are also divided according to skill/experience levels. That is why we ask clients to take 2 private sessions as a pre-requisite.

Definitely. Just go to our website and click on the link at the top of the home page (just like you’ve done!). Click on the “Group Class Schedule” tab and you will see all our class offerings. We will be adding more classes in mid November!

Hi Everyone!

Let me clarify about our Group Apparatus classes. These are the only type of classes that require 2 private sessions before joining. They are not part of today’s Groupon deal.

All the other group exercise classes we offer (Pilates Mat, Kettlebells, Hot Yoga, Core Ballet, etc.) and which are part of today’s Groupon special have no pre-requisites and are all-level— appropriate for any skill level, experience, etc.

Does “new customer” apply if you’ve never been to the studio on Newport? I took a couple classes before at the other location. Let me know, as I did purchase the Groupon, in hopes that I can use it.

I’ve done the private sessions and really found it worthwhile. REALLY. Great for improving flexibility, identifying and addressing problems with muscular imbalance or residual weakness following injuries. Feels great! If you’re on the fence, I’d say go for it.

This place looks great and very conveniently located.

I do have one question for Gizel, though. I noticed that your current schedule doesn’t have the core ballet class listed—do you think that this is something that you’ll offer when you add more classes in mid-Nov?

Yes, our Core Ballet and Stretch Classes will resume in early to mid-November. We just have a workshop that is wrapping up! Those classes will most likely be in the evenings and weekends!

Unfortunately no. The 2 Pilates private sessions and the Pilates apparatus class are outside the groupon special.

The classes that are applicable towards the groupon are Pilates Mat, Kettlebells, (Hot) Yoga, Core Ballet, Gentle Stretch, Cardio Pilates Bosu and Pilates/Yoga Fusion. None of these classes have a pre-requisite and are all-level.

I just printed my Groupon for Spring and noticed that it said valid only for “new customers only”. I live right down the street and was really hoping to try out your yoga/pilates studio as I am thinking of switching, however, I did take a kettlebell class once before last year and didn’t know if this made me inelligible? Can I still use my Groupon to try out Spring?

Just call or email us at the studio to reserve your first class. When you come in, just come a few minutes early to fill out some quick paperwork and we’ll upload your groupon pacakge in your account. After the first session, you can schedule your appts online!

Can I use two classes on one day? (one for me and one for my friend?)

I’m fairly new to Groupon and really bummed I missed out on this deal (I’ve been wanting to try Spring for awhile). If someone were selling their Groupon can I buy it and use it if my name isn’t on it?
