Querbes Golf Course

Overseen by the Shreveport Public Assembly & Recreation department, Querbes Golf Course sprawls 18 holes across 160 acres of public land, challenging residents and visitors alike with narrow sightlines and small greens. Despite the course's relatively short total yardage, the 16th hole measures a whopping 623 yards, forcing all but the most powerful drivers armed with slingshots to settle for a five-stroke par. Playing host to the city's annual amateur and senior amateur championships each year, the course also hosts lessons from its resident PGA professional, Peter Lockwood.
