At the start of each treatment, the aesthetician cleanses and exfoliates the client's face. During the 30-minute glycolic refining facial, a gel peel slowly releases 30% glycolic acid into the skin, sloughing off dead cells and helping erase fine lines and acne. The up to 60-minute Epicuren pumpkin peel blends pumpkin enzymes—which behave like alpha-hydroxy acids—with bilberry, sugar-cane, sugar-maple, orange, and lemon extracts to smooth skin and replenish its nutrients. After a microdermabrasion deepens the treatment's exfoliating effects, a warm mineral mask soothes and hydrates skin to finish. Each treatment includes a hand and foot massage during the facial, and amid the client's choice of organic aromatherapy scents.
