Trainers provide positive reinforcement to, rather than berate, groups of exercisers during Stadium Fitness classes that cater to every fitness level. Participants draw athletic inspiration from the historic Rose Bowl Stadium as they dash to the top of the stadium’s steps, circuit train inside the 5,000-square-foot locker room, and race across the field itself.

Alternatively, certified yoga instructors Anne Harsch and Katie Brunelle help exercisers balance body and mind during a variety of yoga classes held at Stadium Fitness Yoga. Power Vinyasa Flow classes synchronize movement and breathing to rejuvenating music, and similar Heated Power Vinyasa classes turn up the heat and pick up the pace to generate a healthy sweat. Candlelight Yoga classes relaxes participants amid the glow of candles in the studio or on the outdoor patio, when weather permits.

Stadium Fitness

Lauded by Pasadena Weekly for having the best fitness program in 2011, Stadium Fitness earns its praise with a full schedule of energetic workouts held inside the hallowed walls of Rose Bowl Stadium. During each one-hour session, coed groups of all skill levels shed calories as a knowledgeable, certified fitness coach encourages quadriceps to put forth their best effort. Workouts are customized to each attendee's abilities—whether they want to jog up stadium stairs, sprint full-speed across the field's sun-splashed grass, or develop innovative cheerleading routines on the sidelines. Inside, a 5,000-square-foot locker room volunteers its spacious layout, allowing groups to participate in a variety of circuit-training routines or read plaques engraved with quotes from legendary tackling dummies.

The Groupon Guide to: Making a Goofy Face

If we each spend just 15 minutes a day making a goofy face in public, this big old bowl of soup we call "Earth" won't seem quite as tasteless. Here are some tips on how to goof up your face:

  • To make a goofy smile, simply angle the corners of your lips down instead of up.

  • Stick your open hands behind your head so you look like you're either a moose or a person whose head is growing 10 fleshy nubs.

  • Turn around before making a face. That way the person you're with won't have to watch you try to fold your eyelids in half several times, if that's how you choose to make your goofy face.

  • Puff up your cheeks. You can do this the traditional way—with your breath—or the delicious way—with a pound of meatloaf.

  • For the "inverse," you'll want to shave off your head hair and glue the clippings onto your face. You'll also probably want to start walking backward and draw two eyes, a nose, and a mouth on the hairless portion of your head with lipstick. Have a friend do it too and then your inverse faces can kiss each other. That's wild!

Would the world be a better place if everyone walked around with a mouthful of meatloaf?

  • Each workout is a mix of cardio, weights and abs so by the of the hour I always feel like I got a good mix of everything I needed.
