After an aircraft lifts diving duos to 10,000–13,000 feet above the tallest caterpillars, jumpers—who are thoroughly harnessed to a parachute-equipped professional—leap out into the blue. Divers experience the earth's unbridled gravitational power while ripping through the troposphere, an experience that lasts about 50 seconds, or the time it takes a science teacher to rip apart an inaccurate drawing of the troposphere.
