$89 for a 2013 Golf-Course Membership (Up to $1,200 Value)

Members are entitled for one year to unlimited use of the greens any time Monday–Friday and after 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sunday, and holidays. Walking is available during the week for a $7 fee, but power golf-cart rental ($17.50 per round; not included with membership) is required on weekends for speedier play. With cart rental, you receive a free bag of range balls for warming up before the round. Offered to members at a discounted rate of $5 per session, three half-hour lessons (a $45 value per lesson) will give golfers the chance to hone their skills before hitting the course.

Sugar Creek Golf Course

Sugar Creek Golf Course's 18 holes challenge all levels of golfers with 6,500 yards of manicured fairways and carpet-like greens. Players launch shots from one of three tee boxes per hole and continue to thwack their dimpled orbs around the course in an effort to challenge the par 70 layout or crack open their golf ball to discover its nougat center. Guests needing to warm up their swings can do so on the course’s driving range.

The Groupon Guide to: Mysterious Found Objects

There are important cultural artifacts all around us—in garbage cans, the gutter, or hung mysteriously out of human reach over power lines. What is the secret significance of these urban anomalies?

Sneakers: This person most likely exploded.

One Sneaker: Oh man, this person definitely exploded.

Inside-Out Umbrella: Either this umbrella couldn't hold up to a gusty wind and proved to be more trouble than it was worth or its owner exploded.

Pile of Cigarette Ash: Or the remains of an exploded person—who can tell?

A Candy Wrapper: Obviously someone suddenly exploded, as no one would be thoughtless enough to just throw garbage on the ground. Search around nearby to see if you can also score a free umbrella or one sneaker.

How does one sneaker mysteriously end up in the street? The answer revealed.
