On Latin Mondays at Taj, Taj Lounge fills with the sounds of live Latin music for an evening of socializing, dancing, and drinking. The night also includes two classes: one that teaches you how to make ceviche and another that teaches you how to salsa dance. The event runs from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. weekly. Live music is played every other Monday.

Taj Lounge

Indian influences appear everywhere in Taj Lounge's two-story venue, from the carved teak woodwork to the sandstone Shiva sculptures. But the menu is cosmopolitan. The madras lamb chops come flavored with jerk spices, and the charred hanger steak is topped with ginger-coriander chimichurri sauce. On Latin Mondays at Taj, Taj Lounge even morphs into a Latin cantina complete with live salsa music and dance lessons. Though the music on these nights is a change of pace, the party atmosphere isn't. The lounge often hosts weddings, anniversaries, and other events that don't involve auctioning off live rhinos.
