The studio's Tango Fusion sets the traditional Argentine dance moves to modern, electronic-influenced music or pop tunes. East Coast swing classes teach up-tempo, single-time dancing that gets blood pumping and builds cardiovascular endurance. Classes run one hour and allow solo students or couples to switch off partners and learn from their fellow dancers.

Tango Fusion and Swing It founder Derek Madson believes that dance should transcend genres and boundaries, evolving and blending instead of statically remaining separate. That’s why his signature Tango Fusion and East Coast Swing classes sample from multiple dance styles to form a fluid, freeform program of movement. His nontraditional Tango Fusion classes lead students in a more up-to-date and vibrant version of Argentine tango, breaking traditional tango rules with an open-embrace style, dances set to modern pop music, and the freedom to bite into any plant while tangoing, not just the stodgy rose. In East Coast Swing classes, students learn the slow-slow-quick-quick timing throughout an easy-to-grasp lesson plan. The fast-paced dances are set to classic big band artists such as Benny Goodman and swing revivalists such as the Squirrel Nut Zippers.
