Beware of rude staff when making reservation on the phone

I love Tank! My brother and my 6yr old and I go there all the time. Even the little things, like the edamame that my kid devours, are very high quality. Everything is so perfectly fresh and delicious. Lava maki, holy yumminess!

It says you can’t use the Groupon for the lunch special, but can you use it at lunch time on the weekend?

I love going to Tank! The food is great and I have always had friendly service. Is this groupon able to be used on Sunday when they have half price sushi?

Beware. I bought this Groupon last time it was offered and tried three times to redeem it, but each time (once on a weeknight, twice on Saturday late afternoon) the wait was 45 minutes to over an hour. This place is too small to be selling this many Groupons.

@ Lisa- yes you can use this groupon during lunch time on the weekends but it cannot be used for special pricing/other offers. It is valid for the regular menu.

I bought a groupon last time around and had NO problems. I Love the food at Tank Sushi and the service was great. If there is a wait, it is always worth it. The restaurant doesn’t seem small to me. There has to be at least 80 seats. Great food! Great wait staff!

Groupon is only valid for dine-in. It may not be used with other offers, such as, 1/2 price maki during lunch Monday – Friday or Saturday – Sunday 1:00pm – 6:00pm. To be clear, the Groupon may not be applied to the deals on Monday ($5 martini) or Tuesday (1/2 price bottles of wine and sake).
You may use the groupon during any of these other offer times but full menu price will be applied.

I have to say when it is time for my 3 children to pick a place for dinner each week they pick Tank. The staff is amazing that they even make my 6 year old, 4 year old and 2 year old feel welcome. This Groupon is a steel especially for my 6 year old who can’t get enough of the Unagi! Hands down best Sushi in Chicago!! Great Staff great food great place!
