Taunte Maria's Restaurant

Mennonite and Eastern European cuisine gets a spotlight at Taunte Maria's Restaurant, where pierogies, borscht, sausage, and coconut-cream pie slake comfort-food cravings. Chef Kurtis cooks up the breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. Guests then chow down in the dining room, or order carry-out so they can go home and eat their prosciutto-wrapped chicken breast in the hot tub. When the last bit of blueberry-drizzled cheesecake has been scooped off its plate, the restaurant closes and private parties begin; Chef Kurtis can even create a custom menu for these events.
