America earned the nickname "the melting pot" for the way different cultures seamlessly intermingle within it and also the way those cultures all used one big pot to cook gruel in the early days. Explore American cuisine with this Groupon.

$20 for Indian Meal for Two (Up to $44 Total Value)

  • Two entrees (up to a $14 value each)
  • Two drinks (up to an $8 value each)

The menu includes entrees such as roasted-red-pepper curry or Tava grilled-chicken tacos and drinks such as a mango bellini cocktail or imported Kingfisher beer.

Tava Grill and Lounge

At Tava Grill and Lounge, owner and chef Punita Patel infuses her seasonal menu with Indian flavors and fresh, local ingredients. The paneer fajita tacos, for instance, ooze authenticity along with housemade cilantro mint chutney that can double as smelling salts for a food-comatose date. The seafood biryani paella evokes both India and Spain with a blend of shrimp, mussels, squid, and crab in a creamy curry sauce.

A separate menu in the lounge marries the food of India and California, as the atmosphere fuses nightclub and fine-dining establishment. Beside a softly lit bar, benches and ottomans are scattered around low tables, which break up regular tables and booths without the staff having to dig trenches around each.

Reviews

Everything was superb as soon as I walked in. The decor was very contemporary Indian and chic. The place is small and intimate.

The food is as authentic as any of the food I have had Little India but if you want some fusion they have that as well.
