can this be used in the austin locations too?
Two words….Lunch & Dinner for the next two days. Now I have to plan for the rest of the week.
I’m wondering if this will also be accepted at the new Allen location?

As for Austin locations, we’re working on those for a separate feature for our Austin subscribers, so stay tuned in the next couple months!

Thanks for responding, but bummer for me :) The Allen location opens next month & the others are much too far for me.

Mary: Yeah. You can buy two per person (including others) as gifts.
Mary: NOOOO. I just tried to purchase two as a gift for someone… no-go… max limit two no matter what, per user account.
For healthy eating, they do offer burrito salads—all the fixin’s minus the tortilla if you’re looking to save a few calories. And of course you can decide what goes on it… so if you want to skip the white rice… its totally up to you as to how healthy or indulgent you want to be. :)

Randy — The processing message you are receiving means that the transaction isn’t completed. It is nothing on your end, it is all those computer machines trying to move money from point-A to point-B. So you will have to wait to use it.
Rebekah — The majority of our offers technically cannot be redeemed until the following day. Sometimes a business will allow same day redemption but don’t bank on it.

I was just wondering- I thought I bought two (I changed the qty to 2) but my cc was processed for one $5 charge and one $0 charge. I only rec’d a link to one groupon, not two.
For healthy eating you can get a burrito bowl without the cheese and sour cream. I LOVE the BBQ sauce, which is a low fat option!

How can I ensure that this will be good at the Allen location? The terms weren’t updated to reflect that. I don’t want to have to drive a half hour to use.

Jeff — I have spoken with the wonderful people at Freebirds and they are more than willing accept these vouchers at that location when it is open. Rest assured that they will take care of you there or any the other listed locations you choose to use it at.
If you have any trouble using it at that location you can easily contact our customer support team and they will take care of you (not in the scary mobster way… in a much more helpful way)

Now that this has cleared 5K buys today and likely to go higher, I’m curious about the offer with the most Groupon buys in a day (the winner is likely a weekend offer; can’t imagine how high Freebirds would go if this were over a weekend). I’ve seen a few NYC buys go into the thousands, but haven’t seen one go this high in Dallas.

Good question. This is indeed the highest selling Dallas Groupon (in terms of units sold). The previous high was around 3,800.
In terms of most sold ever in any market, that distinction belongs to half price tickets to the Chicago Auto Show where we sold 14,670 (yeah).
Freebirds is so much better than that other burrito place…

They do, but usually only after 3-6 months. With the success of this feature, we’ll try to get Freebirds on again at some point soon.

My purchase still shows as “being processed”. When does it “get processed”?
Don’t get the Freebirds Groupon. They execute the promotion very poorly.
I’m very happy to see that this groupon covers multiple locations. I can use one for work and one for home!
