The write-up on the deal says the Swedish Massage is only valued at $60. Does this mean you only get a 30 minute massage if you choose this type of massage instead of the 60 minute massage which is valued at $90?

Jennifer M.

Am I reading this right? It’s not $45 for $100 worth of services here, it’s $45 and you get to choose one of the four massages ranging from $60 to $100? Which means it’s not really a 55% discount unless you choose the $100 massage.

Lisa B.

Right – the deal says “up to $100 value” – so the percentage off is a little misleading.

Neil D.

Don’t you people know how to read? It clearly states what the choices are, and that the discount ranges up to 55%. Honestly…think before typing these inane snipets.

Andrea B.

Fine Print Says: Limit 1 per visit, does that mean you can purchase multiples for yourself?

C. P.

Neil – It’s a discussion forum. People ask questions. Their questions are less inane than your response is rude.

All – That said, the prices for Teashi are not correct on Groupon. According to Teashi’s website, a 1-hour Swedish massage is $90, a 1-hour deep tissue is $100 (correct), the $65 foot relflexology treatment is $45, and the 1-hour prenatal is $100 (correct).

C. P.

Mistype. I meant that the $65 foot reflexology is only 45 minutes (as stated on Groupon). They don’t offer a longer version of this treatment.

Amy .

Hi – if i just purchased can i use it today? Wasnt sure as its still showing as processing in my groupons…thanks

Hi…Can i get a $65 foot reflexology and use the balance for other services offered there such as mani/pedi ?

Amy .

Thanks a bunch!

If I referred my roommate to this website but she used my credit card to purchase this groupon, will I still receive the $10? I was going to tell her to wait, but I know she really wanted the massage and of course, it is only 24 hours :) She started a new account, just used my credit card.

Thanks!

Barbara M.

Alka, I want to clarify your response to Jyotsna that you can use the BALANCE of the groupon from a $65 reflexology (which would be $35) toward another service. My understanding is that it IS NOT for $100 worth of services, but 4 specific massages. That would be lovely but it is contrary to everything that’s stated on the groupon.

Vincent L.

C. Planner- Thank you!

Neil- If you’re havig a bad day, don’t take it out on people who are just seeking clarity before making a purchase. Now that we’ve established that there is a misprint, maybe that shoulod be a lesson to you. Don’t mean to be a jerk here but that was truly uncalled for.

Vincent L.

Alka, I’m extremely new to Groupon but shouldn’t there be some kind of policy here on Groupon that addresses people’s manners when addressing other people. Apparently, aptitude is not an issue here (although that’s certainly debatable with someone in particular) but attitude is.

“Today’s Deal: $45 for a Restorative Massage at Teashi (Up to $100 Value)”

This is the title of the deal. Its clear and concise, not a misprint or typo. Its crazy, but in the parenthesis it says “Up to $100 Value”. To me, that means the highest value is $100. It doesnt say Minimum of $100 Value. The correct response is “I will get the deep tissue masage to save the most money.”

One of my favorites is when I ask people “Cocktail and Wine menu.” and they reply “Cocktail menu” or “wine menu”. I wasn’t giving them a choice of menus, hence the “and”. The correct response is “yes”.

People need to read and listen better, then Neil will not hurt your fragile sensiblities.

Erin S.

Sorry if I missed it, but I didn’t see an expiration date. Is there one?

Eli T.

So bummed this is sold out. Didn’t know Groupon sells out of coupons. Thought the whole point was the more who buy it the better the discount? Any chance of more being released?

I have the same question as Eli Tirosh. I guess I can wait around for another Spa Groupon to come around for SF again. Hopefully it doesn’t take too long… I was waiting so long already :(
When I finally logged on @ 11:35 it was gone. Sold out @ 10:30? Wow. Great job Groupon! Looks like these daily deals are catching on. :)

Danielle H.

hi there,

i purchased this, but it did not have an expiration date on groupon. Thus, i purchased and just returned home from a business trip to find it expired the very next day?? So I everyone who bought this had to use it the very next day? I hope I can call and still use my groupon….
Does anyone know? This is the first time I have ever used groupon before.

Sarah H.

I purchased 2 groupons for this deal and just realized that its valid for massages and not primarily for other spa services- if anyone is interested in getting them, feel free to contact me at sarahh.sf@gmail.com

Hi
I just tried to call Teashi to set up an appointment for my groupon, and the number was disconnected. 415-749-0990. Is there another number? anyone else have this problem?

Heather G.

I just called and found their phone number was disconnected, too. I hope this wasn’t some kind of last-ditch attempt on their part to make money before going out of business and that we can get a refund or credit if they’re no longer in business.

I’ve been trying to book an appointment online and it just says “No available times were found” for every date in January and February… Is that just because they are overwhelmed by the number of Groupons purchased?

I signed up for the massage groupon offering the day if was offered. It appeared that there was still space and my credit card number was accepted by groupon. I have been waiting for my e mail to confirm that I have a spot. Today I see that there is one space available, but I am concerned to take it in case my earlier reservation is still in the works. The comments I am reading does not appear to favorable to this whole process. So if possible, l would like to cancel my spot, if I have one.

Jeremy D.

This is bullsh*t. I called today, and they said they don’t have a SINGLE time available to redeem the Groupon on ANY day at ANY time in the next two and a half weeks, so it will expire and I can’t redeem it. I want a refund. You can’t simply sell stuff and then say “Oh gee, we don’t have any times available, so it’s perfectly fine for us to just screw you”. I’m letting all the friends I referred to Groupon know about it.
