Tailoring the exclusive afternoon to Groupon buyers, Teatro ZinZanni welcomes ticket holders to the Belgium-imported, antique spiegeltent, offering hunger-quieting appetizers and letting visitors mingle with the cast. After nestling into their seats, patrons take in the show's wondrous spectacle while digging into a delectable salad, soup, entree, and dessert. Wine and cocktail options offer of-age attendees thirst-quenching libations whereas alcohol-free drinks wet the whistles of younger showgoers and teetotaling dipping birds.

Drawing from Norse myth with cheeky abandon, Dinner at Wotan's immerses guests in a topsy-turvy tribute to the Scandinavian end of the world while skewering Wagner’s epic opera Der Ring des Nibelungen. Delirious divinities such as Freya, Thor, and Wotan imbue the show with its irreverent structure as they mount hog steeds to travel to Valhalla, hula-hoop with Wagner's rings, and win their coveted golden apples. Through a combination of cirque stunts, European cabaret, vaudeville, improv, and pop music, the show flip-flops between hilarity and stunning grace. Jaw-dropping performers include the fantastically flexible Christopher Phi, aerial-rope artist Terry Crane, and high-flying dancers Vertical Tango.

Teatro ZinZanni

In 1992, Norman Langill stopped his stroll down a Barcelona street on a curiosity-driven whim and entered a magical, alternative universe. What he found was one of Europe's few remaining spiegeltents—portable dance halls alive with mirrors and stained glass that had once acted as homes for wandering cabarets and circuses. Enchanted by the space, the rakish show inside, and the tangible blend of reality and dreams, Langill resolved to bring the experience back to America, treating audiences to enchanted evenings of bumbling clowns, saucy cabaret, and breathtaking aerialists amid glittering walls and plush velvet.
