Questions and Answers

Is this course self paced on line and is this an accredited course that can be documented as such and be used to qualify for renewal of my 5 year teaching certificate ?

The course is 100% online (no need to leave the comfort of your home) and entirely self-directed meaning it is to be done at you own pace and on your own time.

They are recognized by the English Language Teachers Society of Canada and The Canadian Association of Second Language Teachers, are Institutional members of IATEFL and are on the list of applicant members for accreditation at ACTDEC.

If you want to teach in a public school in Canada or the US, a certification course such as theirs may not be sufficient because the local school board may require you have a TESOL diploma instead, which takes 2-3 years to complete. If however you are interested in working in a private school or any school abroad, their course will be more than sufficient to give you the qualifications you need to get the job.

Would you need to hold a professional teaching license to utilize this? Wouldn't is be more beneficial as an add on or endorsement to a current teacher. Obviously you would have to have at least a Bachelors degree to be able to teach in private and public schools and most would be required to have a professional teaching license to do this. I am unsure how just having an ESOL certificate would grant the ability to teach in a classroom. Please advise.

Thank you for your consideration. A TESOL certificate is regarded as an imperative prerequisite to be able to work as an English language instructor. Our training sessions are demanding and practical. From the first day of your training, you will be a part of a continuous course of action with our teacher-instructors regarding the most up-to-date teaching modes and procedures. Our program is proficiently managed and examined by external, autonomous, and expert teachers. Once you have passed the course you will immediately be issued the certificate which you can take with you to any employer, anywhere in the world. There are many places around the world that would not require you to have a College Degree...this certificate would be sufficient there. The only admission requirement is a certain level of English proficiency which by the look of your email, you have already demonstrated you possess. You can purchase without worry.
