With certification, you can get access to English teaching jobs in a variety of environments like private or public schools and private institutes (not schools). You can also avail English teaching job opportunities in the private and public corporate sector. Specific requirements would vary by employer, so I would suggest checking in your area to see if the positions you're interested would except this certification. Is this on line program accredited in the state of Michigan? How can I find this out? Also, is this certification good for teaching ESL classes to adults. I am currently a certified teacher.
