Expert instructors lead one-hour outdoor boot-camp classes that combine cardio and strength training. Though classes are typically held outdoors, instructors may move trainees indoors in the event of inclement weather. To maximize each session, each participant should bring a mat, a set of 5-pound weights, cold water, a towel, gloves for groundwork, and a watch or a heart-rate monitor. The one-hour classes are held three times per week; see the schedules for each location. Though clients are asked to sign up for one class that meets three days a week, they can attend any other class at any other time or location up to six days a week. For all options, T-shirt size is requested when clients register online, but it is only included with the 12-week boot camp. Those who buy the 4- or 8-week option can purchase a T-shirt for an additional $10.
Though Texas Boot Camp Fitness sometimes features a discounted price online, this Groupon still offers the best deal available.
Texas Boot Camp Fitness
Texas Boot Camp Fitness's certified trainers fortify physiques with an ever-shifting compendium of exercises performed in an outdoor setting. Attendees of all fitness levels sprint and jump toward fitness goals, lifting their own body weight when performing pushups, chin-ups, and acts of levitation. Arms hoist weights, resistance bands stretch between partners, and friendly competitions reveal hidden stores of stamina and strength. Pushing beyond pure leadership of boot-camp classes, instructors supplement workouts with nutritional guidance and lifestyle advice. In the interest of safe and easy mirroring, coaches emphasize clean technique rather than speed or the benefits of cloning.
