Questions and Answers

For the instruction, is all equipment provided? Is there water time? If so, what time of year would it not be "too cold" for kids?

Hey James, All equipment is provided and there is water time. The merchant's classes are from the end of February through Memorial Day, so that would be warm enough for kids. Thanks!

To book a Guided Trip go to the following Meetup site link to create a profile and RSVP for a trip date on the Calendar. If you don’t see a date that works for you…send me an email suggestion. Trips have a minimum and maximum headcount. ALL EQUIPMENT PROVIDED…kayak, paddle, & life jacket. We will caravan or carpool to the river location, then shuttle vehicles to the end or take-out point. http://www.meetup.com/texaspacknpaddle/ This trip is a Guided Trip for those of you that purchased a Groupon Voucher. The number of people is limited...so RSVP’s are VERY IMPORTANT. If you must cancel...you must give at least 24 hour notice. For the trip bring: • Fun Attitude • Quick Dry Clothing and a change of clothing if you want to go home dry. Your butt and your feet will definitely get wet. • No FLIP FLOPS-I charge a $20 "Flip Flop Retrieval Fee". Just Kidding!! • I recommend bringing water or liquid refreshment to rehydrate. • If you need snack...bring something you won't mind getting wet. I recommend fruit, raw veggies, trail mix, etc. No bread items...yucky when wet. • Plenty of suncreen Call if you have any questions-210-494-4200 or text my cell 210-857-2565. **The river location will be announced about a week out. I monitor river flows and conditions before I decide. Usual locations are Upper Guadalupe, San Marcos, San Antonio, Medina, South Llano, Colorado, and a few other area rivers.
