$10 for $20 Worth of Turkey, Sides, and Drinks

The menu of Thanksgiving-inspired foods includes slow-roasted turkey, available á la carte ($4.49) or as a meal with a drink, roll, and sides ($6.99+). Nine types of sides such as mac 'n' cheese, cranberry sauce, and corn ($1.79–$3.49 á la carte) complete meals, rounded out by slices of pumpkin or pecan pie ($2.49 each). For those not in a Thanksgiving mood, six-piece nuggets ($2.49) or roast beef ($4.99) are also available.

TGD

The day after Thanksgiving marks the start of holiday shopping, the cryogenic refreezing of the Macy's parade floats, and the longest possible time before families once again sit down to Thanksgiving dinner. Entrepreneurs Ryan Napier and Nino Natale wanted to close that gap. Their revolutionary eatery, TGD, fills with the nostalgic aromas of America's favorite meal 365 days a year. In the fast-casual establishment, patrons enjoy platefuls of homestyle turkey, sweet potatoes, and stuffing without spending hours slaving over the stove or sobbing quietly to a rep on the Butterball hotline. But just because their food is quick serve doesn't mean it's unhealthy; the pair is devoted to daily prepared, preservative-free food. Jennifer Mastroianni of CantonRep.com asked, as many patrons do, “Are the mashed potatoes real?” In response, Nino held up a container of freshly peeled potatoes, letting the ingredients speak for themselves.

The Groupon Guide to: Famous Hats

Every historical figure of any significance wore a now instantly recognizable hat, synonymous with their name:

  • The Napoleon Hat: Military bicorn, worn side to side or "athwart" to serve as a better perch for enlisted falcons
  • The Benjamin Franklin Hat: Small brass beanie with a large conductive spire jutting out of it, topped with a small eyelet for tethering a kite
  • The Davy Crockett Hat: Famously a strict vegetarian, Crockett's "coonskin" was actually just a matted blob of reeds and buffalo chips that he moistened hourly from his canteen
  • The Hercules Hat: Just a minotaur skull

Honorable Mention: Jughead's "hat" from the Archie comics is actually a crown (?) made of gray paper (?) with miscellaneous shapes affixed to it. Details remain vague because it is proven that overscrutinizing Jughead's hat makes you go insane.

Which historical figure had the most famous hat? The answer may surprise you.
