I have eaten at The Woodlands location twice. Both times my meal was very good. I went with a large group, and everyone thought that the food was quite good for the price. We also loved the atmosphere and service.
I have eaten at 4 of their locations over the last 5 years and have always enjoyed great food and service. Some of my guests claimed they didn’t like Thai food until they ate here and have now changed their mind and they have gone back on their own and taken guests! Judy S.
W. Bay Area Blvd. location has very good food—service can be spotty because they are popular.
I’ve only eaten at the Bay Area location a few times, but have enjoyed my meal every time. That location can get busy busy!!
Is this valid during their weekday lunch menu?
According to their website, there is not a location in Rice Village.
Perhaps it was a different Thai restaurant. I have only eaten at the Sugar Land location, and it was very good.

my fiance and i always visit thai cottage on bay area blvd in clear lake and leave there MORE than pleased :) The yellow curry is awesome! and the spring rolls are yummy. I guess the service and quality of food vary depending on location and staff.

You can use your Groupon for lunch or dinner, however as with all Groupons, the Groupon is not valid with other offers (specials, happy hours, etc). Enjoy!

Do you have to use the entire coupon of $20.00 in one visit?
Is there a minimum spending requirement? Coupons from other sites often require you to spend at least $35 (for example), I just want to make sure there aren’t any catches!

Groupon does not have minimum spending requirments (that I have ever heard of).
All of the “Catches” can be found under the “fine-print” under each deal.
Most catches are usually standard for all of them:
`must be used in one visit
`one per table
`one per person
`not valid with any other offer (happy hour).
`etc.
The fact that there are not typically many stipulations with using Groupons are what makes them stand out from other “deals”!

I’ve eaten at both the richmond and the bellaire location. They are always awesome and never fail to impress. Oh and the Frinkin and Pheonix groupon did have a minimum you have to spend ($35).
I love Thai Cottage, especially their lunch menu. Lots of food for a great price. I have visisted the location on wesland and richmond and also the one on westheimer and the beltway before. I couldn’t pass up this groupon- I love thai cottage!

We eat at the Richmond location a few times every month and the food is great. They do not have a Rice location though. There are several different Thai places in Rice village, but this is not one of them.

okay – if you do the lunch menu and then pay with the Groupon – the fine print says in only. No cash (understand this totally) or credit back. I realize they would not credit my credit card but is this like a gift card that then would be worth whatever you did not use of the $20; to use later?)

Yes, there is no cash back, credit, or rollover balance. You can also check the ‘See the rules’ that apply to all deals that is linked in The Fine Print as this is applicable towards all Groupons unless otherwise noted. You can however, use 1 Groupon per table, so bring some friends and enjoy your Groupon!

Since I have this unique opportunity to have a forum to discuss food, I would love to say I absolutely love all the curry dishes, Yellow and Red especially, the Soft Spring Rolls are an incredibly healthy and tasty appetizer, and if you want to go sinful, the Spicy Wings of Paradise are a somewhat unusual offering at a Thai restaurant. And although I can be considered a bit biased since I work at Thai Cottage, I honestly think their food is fantastic and the people that work there as well as the family who own the business are really wonderful people.

All Groupons cannot be redeemed until the day after the feature as the business needs to be prepared and organized to manage the influx and track redemption. Good news is you always have a while before the expiration date to use your Groupon!

Thanks to all who responded to my inquiry. I got my Groupon after all.
You would think with a location in Rice Villiage, this place would be a great deal…but my entire family came home miserable from eating here just last week. The food was overcooked, mostly, and the sauce was gelatenous. Not a deal, even for free, sorry to say.
