Last night I attended a class at The Actors Room and I left impressed! Steven is an amazing instructor, but more than that, he is a genuine professional that cares so much about the art of acting. He was super knowledgeable on so many concepts, best practices, business matters, and also has proven success! The group of people in the class were welcoming and supportive! I was amazed at everyone’s talent and their pursuit to be even better! I highly recommend this class to anyone who is interested in acting! The Actors Room is a must and is worth the invested time!

I have joined the actors room and I am loving it. The whole group is very kind and friendly. The training coach Steve is wonderful, he is very funny and I am learning a lot from him and others in the group. The exercise session we have every week is amazing. They are designed in a way which really helps you to understand the technique of acting skills. Overall, the environment created by Steve is very encouraging for actors to go on stage and perform. He makes sure that you that learn and understand your mistakes and correct them in future for your further scenes. The other members of the class are also very helpful. I am learning a lot from the coach and the other group members.

The Actors Room is a safe creative space that you will love. This coaching will challenge you to discover talents you never knew you had. If you have a dream in your heart to be an actor then take this class. It’s a great group and Steve is the best coach. -Rhonda Lynn

I very much enjoyed both classes. The first was very informative, as it was based on question/answers. I learned a lot of the ins and outs to the acting business. The second one was merely focused on the students doing scenes (both assigned and improv), and the teacher coaching/critiquing their performance. It was so interesting to hear his feedback, but also so much fun to watch different scenes and learn from such a supportive group of students! Also - Steven is a great mentor and is very motivating. If you're interested in acting, definitely try this out - you won't be disappointed!

Steven Lowe has created a fantastic, positive space for anybody to learn and experiment with the nuances of the acting profession. The Actors Room (TAR) is open to actors of all abilities, and it's open to anybody from other professions, like me, who are thinking about becoming actors. The Actors Room allows you to surround yourself with fellow actors and learn, practice, perform, experiment, and grow as an actor yourself and in the collective group. Steven's coaching and critiquing is based on his many years of experience in the industry, and the knowledge he imparts is not just for acting, but everything that goes along with it, such as the head shot, auditioning, business representation, on-set etiquette, and getting the mindset that this is (or can be) your career. In this regard, the business class is just as important as the acting class. I was so impressed with Steven's knowledge and coaching, and the caliber of fellow actors I met in the Actors Room on my Groupon visit, that I signed up for more acting and business classes. I would encourage anybody looking to appear on the stage, big screen, small screen, commercials, or even print advertising to check out The Actors Room (TAR).
