Can this be applied to the office box or only the red barn box?
Is this for the “small red barn” box? I imagine I can have this delivered to my work in the delivery zone? Do I need to be present or can payment of the groupon be set up in advance over the phone/internet?
Hi Janice, yes the deal does apply to community drop, we just need 10 participants in an agreed upon area to fulfill the drop
Noah, yes this is for The Red Barn small, we have added some additional items specifically for group-on. Yes you can have it delivered to your work (in delivery zone). You would follow the normal group-on redemption process for payment.
Groupon, this offer can be applied to the office box, but the difference would need to be paid.
I’m glad I rec’d this groupon, I never heard of you guys before. Question as I would consider signing up for weekly or bi-weekly membership, when I look at what is in the Red Box online, it sounds different from what is offered in the Groupon (I know there are some additions) but are there blueberries, broccoli, etc? Just want to know how it would work for future deliveries as a member. Thanks.
Hi Shannon, we did create a special box for group-on. How our process works is that we change our menu items weekly to provide you with more of a variety of produce. We update the menu on Fridays so you know whats in your next weeks delivery. We offer a box customization option, you can switch up to two items in your box with anything on the menu of about 25 items. This is giving our customers more control of whats in their box. We offer recipe support in case you don’t know how to cook with Kale for example. We currently have a collection of recipe cards we provide in your box. Hope that answers your question.
To add to that thought, some customers enjoy not knowing whats in their box, it forces them to be creative and to try something new ;)
I am a block away from the division line of Mountain View, but I am in Los Altos. When I put my zip in, it said that I am not in the area for delivery. Is this for sure or would it change once you see my real address and how close I am to ur delivery areas?

Do I get all $50 worth of produce in one delivery. I have a small family. I wonder if I can finish all of htem in a week.

Hi Cas, each box has the box contents. The groupon box is a Small Red Barn, that amount of produce usually works for small families, once you sign up for a weekly or bi-weekly and become a member, you can scale down your box to a mini if you finding its to much produce. I recently sent out some information on how to keep your produce fresher longer, most items will keep for up to two weeks. Since we buy directly from organic farms our produce tends to last a little longer than normal. In some cases the produce is picked a day or two before reaching our customers.

Hi Claire, we currently are servicing the Bay area down to Monterey through Hollister , Gilroy, Morgan Hill. Once we build a customer base in the area, we can look at delivering to the L.A area. Thanks for the interest!
Did I read the contents of the box correctly? It doesn’t seem like much at all if the retail value is really $50. Does “Apples -2” and “Oranges -2” mean 2 boxes of fruit or 2 pieces of fruit?

Hi Cindy, that retail price is a single box price for a SMALL RedBarn. The single price is more due to the fact it costs more to process one box plus delivery. Once you sign up for a weekly or bi-weekly recurring service then you get membership pricing. The box price then goes down to $26.00.

1) I think I saw that celebration boxes take a little longer. What does your firm do for birthday boxes?
2) Can the Groupon be applied towards your birthday offering?

Hi Ellen, you can choose any of our boxes and send them as gifts. We offer some specialty items such as flowers and dried good that make great gifts. We have discussed gift baskets, maybe in the near future.. If you’d like to send as a gift, you can just fill out the ship to address of the person you want to send it to. In the special instructions field advise that its a gift. You can upgrade your group-on, you would just have to pay the difference. We have placed our order for delivery for next Thursday and excited to receive our first box of fresh organic fruits and vegis.
(1) Is all the produce you deliver “organic?” Important because we only each organic these days.
(2) If it costs only $26.00 as a member to buy a box where does the $50.00 value come from. We buy from farmer’s markets all the time and I don’t the produce would total $50
We are wondering because, we are perfect candidates for Box Farm membership and want to consider it.
