$29 for Entry to Singles-only 5K Mud-Run (Up to $59 Value)

On Saturday, April 20, racers set off on a 5K singles-only course at historic Virginia Key Beach Park in Miami that includes rope swings and climbing walls. Over the course of the race, participants also crawl through tunnels, leap into the Atlantic Ocean, and slide into a sticky mud pit. Racers receive a complimentary T-shirt, finisher’s medal, and free beer at the event, as well as free entry to the Gryphon nightclub at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood for an after party with two free drinks.

Mud Mingle

The mad scientists behind Mud Mingle spend their days playing with mud and surfing the Web for the ideal throwing axe. All that hard work will pay off on April 20 at historic Virginia Key Beach Park when they host an intense 5K race that challenges the mind and body. During the race, entrants crawl through a dark tunnel, swing on monkey bars, conquer a quicksand pit, slide down a zipline, and of course crawl through mud while pretending to be the primordial life form that preceded the crocodile.

The Groupon Guide to: Remaining Calm

Life is full of stressful situations that challenge our ability to remain calm. Whether you're in the middle of a heated debate or being chased by a gaggle of exes, use these techniques to remain even-tempered:

Take a Deep Breath: Feeling air slowly enter and leave your lungs will remind you that nothing really matters because we are all just balloons that move air around.

Count to 10: Ten is the most calming number because when turned sideways it looks like a thin man sleeping on a big, round rock. He's freer than any of us.

Think about Something Positive: You'll feel better if you imagine something peaceful such as a smiling child, a clear blue sky, or a horse playfully biting his master's hand.

Repeat a Positive Mantra: Many people are soothed by chanting "this too shall pass," and others like to repeat "I'm the one in charge, I sail my own barge."

Which number looks like a free man? Find out in today's Groupon Guide.
