The Dailey Method

The Dailey Method appropriately takes its title from its creator's maiden name, since it’s born of the intersection of many forms of exercise in Jill Dailey McIntosh's life. She initially studied Pilates, privately training other teachers in the method before eventually opening a personal-training studio with a partner. One of her students introduced her to the Lotte Berk ballet-based fitness method, and Jill hurried to New York to study with some of the original teachers of the form. She brought home new exercise knowledge and a passion for group fitness classes, and she decided to combine Pilates and ballet-barre exercises into what became her signature form. Now, she and numerous instructors at multiple studios help people develop more fit bodies while maintaining excellent posture, leading to long-lasting health. Additionally, studios are equipped with full showers facilities and offer childcare during classes.
