Choose Between Two Options

  • $49 for two delivered meals (up to $100 value). Each meal is 4-6 servings.
  • $98 for four delivered meals (up to $200 value). Each meal is 4-6 servings.

The menu of quality, home-cooked meals rotates every Friday. It contains gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian, and Paleo-friendly dinners on occasion. The complex and flavorful dishes use locally-sourced, fresh ingredients and are prepared by a professionally-trained chef with a degree from the Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts. Past selections have included chicken piccata over angel hair pasta, oven-baked truffle fries, and lobster mac and cheese. Delivery is available on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 2:30 and 4:30 p.m. Those not home during delivery times should have a milk box or cooler on the front steps, where meals will be left at their own risk. Orders must be placed the previous Sunday evening. These gourmet delivery dinners are ideal for gift-giving around the holidays and for special occasions such as baby showers.

The Dinner Fairy

Helmed by a professional chef who intimately understands the stressful demands of being a wife and mother, Dinner Fairy takes cooking off parents’ already stacked to-do lists by delivering ready-to- eat meals right to their doorsteps. The chef uses organic and locally sourced ingredients whenever possible, not only preparing delicious and attractive dishes, but nutritious ones as well. Meals, which customers can choose from regularly rotating menus, arrive emanating such a home-cooked freshness that moms or dads may be tempted to drop the shipping receipts down a piranha-infested well and pass off the cooking as their own.

The Groupon Guide to: Harebrained Schemes

These days it seems like everyone has some kind of harebrained get-rich-quick scheme. Use this handy guide to sort out whether a scheme is destined for failure or straight for the bank:

Scheme: Your neighbor Robert wants you to open a flower shop with him.
Verdict: Harebrained. Robert inherited the flower shop from his father, but in order to keep the shop’s best customer, Mrs. Winifred Downing, you’ll have to pretend that Robert’s father is still alive and court Mrs. Downing in his guise.

Scheme: Your boyfriend, Calvin, wants to get married.
Verdict: Harebrained. Calvin will use the marriage as a contract to bind you together both financially and spiritually. Once you’ve signed the paperwork, Calvin can move into your house and even use your toilet.

Scheme: Your older cousin, Harrison, wants to build an airplane in the front yard and charge local children to take rides in it.
Verdict: Legitimate. This is a business opportunity you won’t want to pass up, just to see every other family in the neighborhood raking in money with their front-yard aeronautics companies. Sign over all of your bank accounts and government bonds to Harrison as soon as possible.

Look at those children having fun in that raft on the roof!
