Before waxing, unwanted hair was given impossible brainteasers with the hope that follicles would pull themselves out in frustration. Celebrate swift hair removal with this Groupon.

Choose from Three Options

  • $11 for two areas of threading (up to a $22 value). Choose two areas from the eyebrows, chin, or lip.
  • $29 for one Brazilian wax (up to a $65 value).
  • $20 for $40 worth of waxing services.

An aesthetician performs threading on two different areas during one visit—clients choose from the eyebrows, lip, or chin. Available waxing areas include the full face ($40), bikini line ($30), underarms ($20), and half ($30 for both) or full legs ($45 for both).

The Eyebrow Artist

Growing up in New Delhi, Kiran Chawla learned about threading firsthand in her aunt’s salon. An ancient technique for hair removal that originated in the Eastern World, Kiran would watch her aunt move taut cotton threads across skin, swiftly rolling and removing the hair from clients’ faces. Soon, she was the one working with clients, honing her skills to be as precise with thread as an obsessive-compulsive silkworm. Eventually, Kiran moved to the U.S., where she continued her education to become a certified aesthetician. Today, under the moniker of The Eyebrow Artist, Kiran deftly removes hair using both thread and wax, and refines complexions with customized facials.

The Groupon Guide to: Hungry Hippos

Are hippos hungry? You better believe it. I mean, look at them. You don't achieve a state of such rippling girth without living in a perpetual state of desire and consumption. Depending on the hungriness levels of your household hippo, you can keep your pachyderm's palate pacified with the perfect meals dictated by this hunger gauge:

  • Hungry Hippos: Tropical semiaquatic greens
  • Hungry, Hungry Hippos: Nutrient-rich pellets indistinguishable from plastic white marbles to nonscientists
  • Hungry, Hungry, Hungry Hippos: Human flesh, or new brand-name synthetic human-flesh substitute, ChunkaHunk®
  • Hungry, Hungry, Hungry, Hungry Hippos: Any landmark or architectural structure recognizable enough to convey location in a movie
  • Hungry, Hungry, Hungry, Hungry, Hungry Hippos: A not-insignificant portion of the moon
  • Hungry, Hungry, Hungry, Hungry, Hungry, Hungry Hippos: They cannot be sated. They cannot be stopped. Say your goodbyes, for that sound over the horizon is not thunder.

What do hungry, hungry hippos eat in real life? The answer might be you.
