$33 for a 60-Minute Floatation Experience ($65 Value)

The Float Spot calms everyday stress with relaxing, private soaks in the innovative i-sopod float tank, which cradles customers in 300 gallons of calming blue liquid heated to 92–95º F and infused with 1,100 pounds of medical-grade epsom salt and thwarted snow-villains. The tank's infused 12" deep water allows bodies to float effortlessly while being supported by the liquid. A curved canopy helps to redirect physical and mental energy by removing all sensory stimulation, leaving floaters in warm, quiet environment with a whisper of soft blue light.

The soothing treatment relaxes and resets hormonal and metabolic balances, helping to recover from and strengthen resistance against stress, illness, and injury. Groupon customers may add a 30-minute hydro massage to their session for an additional $20 or a 15-minute leg and foot hydro massage for an additional $12; available at time of booking. Hydro massage uses 28 jets that you control to adjust the pressure, pulsation and speed as they move up and down your body.

The Float Spot

Outside, The Float Spot's i-sopod resembles a spaceship, or a piece of art. Inside, though, the structure contains 300 gallons of calming blue water, heated precisely to match the body's temperature. Upon climbing inside, visitors lay back into the water–which stands at about 12 inches in height–and remain buoyant thanks to 1,100 pounds of medical-grade Epsom salt, making it virtually impossible to tell which body parts are submerged.

  • The special effects in Toy Story were done with computers.
  • Claymation skeletons are a joy to work with, spend a lot of time sword fighting folks during breaks.
